Words of Victory Ministries is a non-profit faith based organization that is an extension of the Media Ministry of Grove Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia.
Words of Victory Ministries utilizes radio, television, and the internet as a medium for Biblical teaching and preaching. Biblical lessons are provided by Dr. Mark Becton Senior Pastor of Grove Avenue Baptist Church. Dr. Mark Becton is the leader and principal spokesman for Words of Victory Ministries.
Dr. Becton holds a Doctor of Philosophy, a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as pastor of several Southern Baptist churches in Texas and Oklahoma.

Personal Statement:
My heart's desire is for people today to see and experience the greatness of God. Our frantic pace causes tunnel vision. All we see are dates and deadlines. Occasionally, we'll look up from our tasks and ask, "Isn't there more to life than this?" God says, "Yes." We were created for a relationship, not accomplishments – to walk with God and not just run through life.
